Q: What is STUNONYMOUS?

A: STUNONYMOUS is an anonymous but interactive community for college students. Instead of being a site about the individual, we're going to be a site about the community. We aren't focusing on profiles here. It's all about the interaction with one another in the community. That's why we try and stress that we are a Social Community instead of a Social Network. We aren't about how many friends you have, or who you know. It's about the experience that you have here, and we hope it's a great one. We've gone and are still going through great lengths to make this an incredibly user friendly, fun, and useful place to be. As we continue to build we will be working hard to make the site customizable to every individual user. We have big plans for the community, some pretty exciting stuff, but we can't do it all at once so it will gradually build up. I'd also love to hear back from the community on where you’d like to see STUNONYMOUS go.

Q: Why did I create STUNONYMOUS?

A: The reason why I wanted to create an anonymous community for college students is because I got tired of the stalkerishness of other social sites. I also wanted a place where people could just have fun and feel free to say and do just about anything they want. I know there has been a big scare lately with businesses cruising through other social sites looking at the profiles of the people that they may be hiring and then finding pictures of them being drunk and disorderly. Well, you won't have to worry about those people finding you on here because this place is for students with a .edu email address, and if you aren't registered you're limited to the home page, the music section (coming), and a limited version of the video section (also coming). (Limited as in, if you don't want non-members to see what you upload, check the box that says "FOR STUNONYMOUS EYES ONLY").
